How do I best introduce myself? I'm Ife, a Nigerian-born, UK-bred software developer forever trying to make sense of the world around me.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. It's my creative playground, somewhere to explore the thoughts and ideas I often leave unsaid. From deep dives into culture and heritage to nonsense rambles written in a semi-delirious state, I traverse a wide range of themes and topics.

Right now this site is mainly a digital garden: sketches, blog posts, scribbles, half-finished ideas. I've got plans to grow it into more, eventually, but for now, this is where I think out loud.

a little history

Before this site existed, I had two others. First was the blog Mumbles and Murmurs, written by a nineteen-year-old who didn't expect anyone to read it besides her future self. It eventually became reflectife.com a couple of years later, and now it's here. The name has changed and the writing has hopefully gotten better, but the premise hasn't moved much. I'm still mostly writing to Ife, for Ife, but you are welcome to read over my shoulder.

Okay, I feel like you've been sufficiently introduced. Feel free to look around.
